What happens at a homeopathic consultation?

The initial homeopathic consulation normally lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours. To enable the homeopath to find the best remedy for you, this time is spent asking many questions. Not only on your presenting complaint, but on all aspects of your medical history, health, life and experiences. Details of any current medication or other treatments used are also required. So anything that you can tell your homeopath about yourself is very useful. In this way you and your homeopath can work together to find the best individualised remedy for you, to aid your path back to optimum health.

After your first consultation, the homeopath will spend time analysing your case to select the appropriate homeopathic prescription for you. This prescription will be posted out to you as soon as possible after your consultation (normally within 5 working days).

Follow-up consultations of approximately 1 hour duration are normally required on a monthly basis to assess how treatment is progressing and to review your remedy prescription.
